Eau de Toilette

It's pretty smelly here right now.

So. Tonight.

Tonight was easy as far as listening and behaving went. We did have a bit of a struggle with getting dressed this morning but we overcame it and she redeemed herself in the afternoon.

She has to behave as we are going to the Children's Museum after all on Saturday. 2 more sleeps!

Tonight she comes down with 2 teddy bears and as soon as she got within 10 feet of me I am like "what the heck is that smell?"

That, my dear readers is this:

this bottle was a lot fuller earlier today

She came downstairs and she reeked. I mean I could barely be in the same room with her. We're talking headache inducing and eye watering stank. She was one stinky kid.

"What Happened?" I asked.

"I sprayed my teddy bears and put them in pajamas"

"I see"

The stinky trio

You guys, the bears were SOAKING WET with perfume. You should smell the house right now. OMG.

It smells.so.bad. So.bad.

I repossessed the perfume and explained that I am pretty sure the bears have enough perfume and they are good.

If it were warmer I could open windows and let some of the stink out, but because it's November I just have to deal with the current smell that is my daughter and her teddy bears.

I'm hoping the air in here returns to some semblance of normal by spring. There's so much of this stuff in the air I feel I can taste it. Let me tell you that cheap perfume for kids is not a taste you want to experience.

Always smelling like roses,

TH and Co.
