The Big Road Trip

7am start.

She went straight to the tablet and started to play games and sing along. I will miss the singing.

I got packed to go, and then went to get the dog from the backyard and that's when the fun began.

She was playing with the dog in the yard and then of course when I need to get the dog into the car, she won't come. Thankfully we had a hot dog to use as a bribe and who can resist a hot dog? 20 minutes later and the dog is in the car.

Go to drop the dog off at daycare and the sign says they are closed even though I have an appointment booked. I call all the numbers I have and just get voicemail. Finally somebody comes in. This used to be a great place but it's gotten more expensive so I might look for alternatives. The trouble used to be worth it, but no more.

Drive for an hour and a half and stopped to charge and have lunch. Shake shack: Burger and a shake. 15 minutes is all I needed and then back on the road.

The little dongle I bought that allows the car to talk to the planning app works great! At the start of the trip I was showing three stops but once I got going and the data started to flow and get going I only had to stop one more time. 10am departure. 6pm arrival. About an hour and a half to charge. A 6 hour drive ended up being 8 with the slow to charge Chevy bolt.

Pizza for dinner and ice cream cones for dessert and lots of good times here in PA with family. Oof. I ate too much pizza

Also, we got a new lawn sign !
