The Children’s Museum
We Explored. And More.
You knew this post was going to coming. We have done nothing but talk about if for days on end here and finally the time had come to:
You would think that she would be chomping at the bit to get going, but it still took time to get her off the tablet and have breakfast and get dressed. She’s so distracted. Putting on socks should not take 10 minutes.
We finally get to the car and hop in:
“Hey Dad! Play the Sunglasses Song!”
“What song is that?” I asked?
“You know”, she said.
Ah. I do know:
“This is a song from back in the day, right Dad?”, she asked. “In the 80’s”
Yes, it is. It’s not a terribly good song, but it is from back in the day.
We manage to make it to the Children’s museum just in time for the opening and it’s relatively empty as that’s a good thing. It gets crazy busy.
Here’s a few photos:
You would think that she would be bored (Dad was) but nope, she had a great time but after 2 hours of kid wrangling, it was getting really busy there and we were hungry.
So we went to McDonald’s for a happy meal and then home.
That’s enough learning and playing for one day. Dad is exhausted.
Keep Learning,
TH and Co.
