another perfect score!

I can't believe I have found time to write today as it has been crazy busy.

Item Number 1

We had the remediation guys come today and clean and pull up all the wet flooring downstairs and then plug in big industrial dryers. I was fearing the worst with these things as when we had our roof fall in about 2017 or so we had 3 of these running in the kitchen for days and they were so loud that BW couldn't stand it and went out of town for the week.

Maybe the technology has changed but these are not half as loud as our previous experience. As I write this, I think that our fridge is louder. That said, I did put the child to bed with hearing protectors on. She said she was scared but I think it was just a stall tactic. As I write this she is asleep with the earmuffs on and the song wheels on the bus at full volume to she can hear it. Hey, whatever it takes 😏

Item Number 2

Of course all this has to happen today because hey why not - the contractor came today unannounced for an estimate as well - wanting to know about flooring preferences and whether there was trim there or not originally - all while the blowy things were blowing away at full blast and I had other pressing issues which was:

Item Number 3

As number 1 and 2 above were happening I was also trying to get BW admitted in the hospital and of course the doctor's office was no help when I called for advice.

You see her asthma has been acting up over the past few weeks and it's gone from worse to "let's get you to the hospital" worse so I helped her get packed up and then sent her in an uber of all things - because I had 3 other people in my house who were unrelated to me and the one that was related to me was coming home in a school bus in about an hour's time

Also, I had to make dinner:

the rice didn't turn out so hot so I had improvise a bit with the starch. We all survived.

As I write this I have one family member asleep upstairs and the other is in good hands in the hospital where they have doctors and meds that will get her on the mend soon

For today - this is the best if gets I guess. I think I held it together for the most part 🙄
