We are Moving to Canada

No, not really.

We are Moving to Canada
Pick a side.

I went to bed before the election results were in and then woke up to this:

uh-oh.

The Cheeto is going to be in charge again.

When I asked BW about this, she replied that she is going to send the child and I back to Canada.

Yeah, as if it's better in Canada.

And that's as far down the political rabbit hole I am willing to go. Just know we're staying put - regardless of what BW says. Good lord, could you imagine the packing? Yikes!

While the populus was voting for the Cheeto, the kiddo and I took advantage of the ridiculously warm weather to go for a walk. Not just any walk, mind you but it was more like a mission. She made a list of what we needed:

  1. The bright green Camaro around the corner. That's about as long as her legs will take her.
  2. One Pine Cone
  3. One Leaf
  4. One Dandelion

I knew we could find a Camaro and a leaf, which wasn't hard. But the dandelion? I didn't think there would be any of those in early November, but what do you know, she found one.

She was thrilled that we found all the things on the list. The bonus is that we found the world's biggest leaf on our walk.

Sandals! In November

This all happened while the nation bit its nails in anticipation/dread on the outcome on election day.

The kids? They were out collecting leaves and riding bikes and enjoying the sunshine.

I think I want to be a kid for bit. No move to Canada required.

Keep your chin up,

TH and Co.

PS. We didn't find the Green Camaro. It's November after all so it's in storage is our guess. At least that's what we decided so we're going with it.
